PHP vulnerability PHP2shell - servers updated

The PHP core team has announced a severe vulnerability in the core PHP software. Further details will be disclosed later today (16.00 Amsterdam time), and exploits are expected to emerge within minutes of the disclosure.

As a precaution, we are preparing our platform and temporarily restricting certain features, primarily multipart uploads.

These measures may affect the functionality of your website, particularly the uploading of files and media.

The anounced PHP vulnerabilities have been published. The security patches are being installed on our systems at the moment. Once installed and rolled out, our services will gradually be restored.

The security patches are installed and our servers have been rebooted. This means that websites on our hosting platform should be available again!

For other managed servers, we are installing the updates one by one, so some services might still be unavailable, but this should soon be fixed too.

A new Wordpress vulnerability has recently been published. Although it is unlikely this vulnerability can be (ab)used on our hosting packages, we still recommend updating any Wordpress installations you may have.
